2. Be Generous!
Being a supplement ambassador is about sharing. Sharing how the products are beneficial, why you use them, how they can help others, and even sharing a scoop or two from your own tub! Hook your customers up for free samples or products! That will help retain them as loyal customers!
3. Be Engaging!
Get in front of people. Don’t try to do everything from behind a phone screen. Be outgoing; shake someone’s hand, share a product with people at the gym, or strike up a conversation. Be willing to learn about other's goals and offer your help!
4. Do Not Be Pushy!
Share your products and ask others to let you know what they think and then leave it at that until you see them again. Let the products and your personable actions speak for themselves.
Genuinely care more about helping others learn than forcing a sale. Let the sale happen naturally, without pressure, by inviting them to contact you for a “discount”. Treat others the way you would want to be treated.
5. Know What You’re Talking About!
As a supplement ambassador, you should be familiar with and knowledgeable about the supplements. For example, when to use them, what they're for, and how they help. Learn about the goals and needs of your friends and family and base your recommendations on what is best for them.
6. Share Wins!
Everyone likes an opportunity to celebrate victories. Post progress pictures of yourself while using the products or share pictures of you wearing the merch. If you're a coach or trainer, update your audience about the successes of those you are serving. Like and share your customer's posts and testimonials with your friends and followers.
7. Try New Things!
Be willing to explore all avenues of opportunity. Every supplement ambassador is different, you will find your own unique way of representing the brand. Some will have success with one-on-one personal conversations, others will thrive online. Different methods work for different people, so try them all.
8. Be Honest!
Your customers, friends, and family will respect integrity and follow-through. Never imply that a supplement will magically change them or immediately impact results. Be straightforward and open, supplements can help and enhance health and performance, but they're not a miracle pill or substance.
9. Don't Give Up!
Most often, consistency leads to success. There may be times when sales and engagement are slow, continue to push. It takes time to build a customer base and following. Be consistent, continue to show up, and don’t quit.
10. Own It!
